Because the objective of the course is to foster and inspire the craft of writing creatively, much of class time will be devoted to that task. Much of the challenge of developing the craft of creative writing is finding the time for it; in this class you will be granted that chance, that luxury. You should come ready and willing to write; some days it will be harder than others, but what you especially need is an open mind and a fast hand to translate those thoughts onto a page.
My role in the course is hopefully to inspire you and to act as a facilitator of great art. It is my intention to write with you and to be a springboard from which you can bounce off ideas. I am here to offer support, advice, and a forum for your talent. It is my great wish that what you acquire from this course is a repertoire of strong, powerful writing pieces and a desire to continue to write for the rest of your life.
My goals for this website are to create a web presence that helps to better communicate with you and your parents and to establish an area where you can find information that is helpful to your learning and that illuminates our curriculum.
